About me

Since a young age was interested in developing software. Starting with writing simple batchfiles and QBasic scripts I soon wanted more. After I learned about development of actual programs in C I got myself a book and started experimenting on an old laptop. Well, one thing lead to another, and now I’ve been developing software professionally for quite a few years.

Around that same time I discovered Linux and have enjoyed using it since then every day. Discovering all it’s secrets by hosting software, building it from scratch and setting up servers.

Besides software development I like to experiment with network infrastructure, the Fediverse and all kinds of self-hosting services.

Outside the cyberworld I like enjoying live music at festivals, cycling, eccentric movies and baking. My occasional travel stories can also be found on this blog.
